STUART RANGE ESTATES - Chardonnay
Situated in the heart of Kingaroy, Queensland, Stuart Range Estates state of the art winery has been built in the historic 1927 Butter Factory.
The grapes used to craft the wine are sourced largely from vineyards in the South Burnett.
Many of these vineyards are positioned on or adjacent to the Stuart Range, hence the name 'Stuart Range Estates'.
The Stuart Range runs directly from the magnificent Bunya Mountains to the east of Kingaroy. The rich fertile soils, grassy rolling hills and elevation above sea level combine to create regional characteristics unique to the South Burnett.
We believe it is the combination of these elements that impart such distinctive flavours and exceptional richness to our wines.
Since its advent into the Australian wine industry in 1998 Stuart Range Estates has achieved remarkable recognition and acclaim for the quality of its wines.
Innovative new winemaker Charles Williams, from Mt Barker in Western Australia, joined the team in September 1999 and is looking forward to an exciting vintage this year.
