World Expo Hannover 2000 provides a great employment opportunity for enthusiastic young Australians. You will work in Hannover in Germany, amidst all the excitement of World Expo, at the Australian Pavilion which will be one of the most exciting pavilions at Expo. It is desirable that you have European language skills.

We have food and hospitality positions available for :-

• Waiters / Waitresses
• Musical Entertainers
• Cleaners
• Store Persons
• Administration Assistants

Duties that you may be reasonably requested to perform (but not limited to) :-

• Bar Service
• Providing table service and hospitality in the VIP Lounge
• Cleaning Duties
• Stores Management
• Driving Vehicles
• Office Work and Administration
• Table Service and General Waiters' Duties
• Cooking and Food Preparation
• Handling of Cash and Attending to Banking Arrangements

We will provide accommodation for you in private apartments in Hannover on a twin share basis. You will have your own lounge and kitchen facilities for use when you are not working.

It is expected that you will be working long hours, maybe 10 hour shifts, and you could be required to work for 10 days straight with an envisaged 5 rostered days off. This will allow you to have plenty of opportunity for travel around Europe between your rostered work times.

We would like to employ people for the full 5 month period 1 June 2000 to 31 October 2000... that is 153 days, however, we do understand that some applicants may only wish to apply for work for a shorter period.

Pay rates are still being worked out because of German taxation laws, Australian taxation laws, and Expo regulations.
