For five months, June, July, August, September and October, Australia will be on show at World Expo 2000 Hannover.
As caterers to this event our Company will present Australian hospitality at its best.
We will achieve this by employing enthusiastic Aussies who have a bright and sunny personality who are able to share the bounties of Australia with the visitors to the Australian Pavilion.
We will have the best Aussie Beer... Beef Pies and Kangaroo Pies... wonderful Australian Wines... Fantastic Fish... Tropical Fruits... Bush Tucker... and the best Aussie Beef Steaks... but above all, this food will be served by a band of young Aussies who are just wild about our Country and our Products.
The Australian Pavilion has 2 hospitality areas, the Sports Bar and the VIP Lounge. Both of these venues will operate from 9.30am until late for 7 days a week for the whole 153 days of the Expo.
The Sports Bar - Great Aussie Food
There's no doubt that walking around the Expo site all day can be tiring, so the Australian Pavilion's Sports Bar gives you a chance to beer and pie and catch up on what's happening in the Olympic Games, the Australian Grand Prix or other Australian sporting events.
There will be live music at night as well as great Aussie bands featured on the big screen.
VIP Suite and Board Room - A quiet place for special guests
The VIP facility will include a private bar, boardroom and space for corporate functions.
This area will have dramatic views over the pavilion interior, the Expo Plazza and water feature and direct access to certain areas - such as the Virtual Room - for special VIP occasions after hours.
The VIP room will function daily as follows :-
9.30am - 11.30am Morning Tea / Brunch
11.30pm - 2.30pm Lunch
2.30pm - 4.30pm Afternoon Tea
5.00pm - 7.00pm Cocktails
7.30pm - 9.30pm Dinner
The foods served in the VIP Lounge will represent the best Australian products served in a simple manner so that the full flavour and value of the products can be appreciated by our guests.
